Winter Wonderland

It was a gorgeous day. Sunny, clear, crisp, cold. Photos like this are usually reserved for our local ski hill, a three or four hour drive away.

This was taken five minutes from my house at Beacon Hill Park. Awesome.

I'm sorting through the rest of my photos to find some more to make ya'll jealous!

I love snow - but all I can think is could it please be gone by the 8th when I have to drive down the entire island.

My poor little prelude won't do to well with all that beautiful snow. :(

Oh, don't worry, it'll be gone by then!

(Or, at the very worst, they'll have cleared all the roads by then! )

: )

There is something about fresh snow and blue skies, isn't there.

I read an article one upon a time that said blue is the most relaxing color for the human brain...

Oy, hope you escaped the power outage hell that we had for 17 hours here. Brrrrr was it ever cold in my house! All thanks to the snowstorm... on the bright side, I have not been in to work since Friday.

Laura: I just escaped it. It went out in patches here and my patch stayed on. Which is good. My apartment's pretty cold as it is and I couldn't have managed without heat and hot water. : )

Tod: I love it too :D More, more I say!
