If You Have An Extra Couple of Minutes on Your Hands

And grew up around the same time I did. . .

you should watch this.

I was laughing out loud.

Loudly.

Watch all of it if you want, but I killed myself during the first two or three minutes.

"What? Who put that there? Where did that come from?"

(Be warned though, faint of heart, this video includes bad, bad, non PG language. Don't sue me.)

LMFAO!!!!

I so want to play MarioBros now - must go find my old Nintendo system. :)

You're SO lucky. We begged my parents to get us the Nintendo when it came out but they wouldn't. I used to go down the street to my friend's house after school to play.

I think that's why this is so damn funny!

: )

omg, it goes on forever... he is quite literate inbetween the foul language... and funny!
Mario "shuffles off this mortal coil..."

Yeah, it's pretty darn funny.

I haven't actually watched it the whole way through, but still. Funny.

And, yeah, dude is hilariously profane.

Or something.

Did you watch the other one where he plays the second level? Not as funny - but still entertaining.

This was great! I just watched the whole thing. I remember those exact feelings from playing the game. There was one level I could not beat for a couple of days straight. I finally solved it in a dream! Woke up, did the moves I'd dreamt of and finished the level. Crazy the shit that this game would do to people.

Watching it, I can remember the moves and how you could power/long jump/high power B button etc. etc.

That's hilarious that you solved your level in a dream! Awesome!

What an awesome game. :D

Back then we thought this was great fun.
Nowaday, the kids would think this was some
sort of extreme torture. I have seen games
where the character automatically jumps for
you as you charge off the ledge. Even
adventure games like Dungeon Siege will
automatically fight for you. How lazy is
that?

Kids these days! Pffft.

What would be the fun if you didn't have to actually PLAY it yourself?

LOL this made me actually Laugh Out Loud, not just in the typing LOL way either :) Oh Mario and the hours spent attempting to rescue your waylaid chicas.. but now it's got me thinking whether or not it was a set up.. like they needed the drama in their life and it got kinda blase when there wasn't rescuing and pipes to slide down.. lol.. umm.. yeah.. I gotta go now ;) lol

This is giving me both flashbacks and anxiety. I'm remembering yelling at my tv when I was a kid.

Victoria said...

Totally, eh?

I used to get SO stressed out playing, but I still loved it : )

HAHAHAHA

Boy did this bring back some fond (yet frustrating) memories.

The voice in the clip either reminds you of someone who did the very same thing (*cough* my brother *cough* *cough*), or the voices that were in your own head at the time (*cough* okay maybe out loud when alone *cough*)!

;o)
