I Think I'm Going To Barf

I'm sitting here watching a movie and something large just ran out from under the couch. Large enough that I saw it with my peripheral vision and froze.

I think it was a spider, but I really would rather it was a mouse.

How fast can spiders run?

How in heck am I supposed to sleep?

Um, Ew!

I hope it was a mouse too. Now I am going to keep seeing things in my peripheral vision too. lol

What movie did you watch? *changes subject while trying to stare directly at the screen and not around the room into corners*

Um...we're dealing with mice...you'd rather it be a spider, I promise. Trust me on this one...or? you come take care of my mice and I will come get your spider! Deal?

Likalia, it was "Year of the Dog" ( I appreciate the topic change so totally!)

Jenn, I had wicked nightmares all night and, no I didn't find out what it was!

Dilling, I think I'd rather that it's gone, whatever it was. To be honest, I'm not sure what's preferable so maybe a spider that has now gone home?

But yeah, maybe a tradeoff is necessary?

Hey Reading Pal, remember your random unrelated comment? Well here is mine. I picked up Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, and may have started it yesterday morning read about 140 pages, put it down then picked it back up at 11 when I went to bed and stayed up way too late/early to finish it.

lol

Will definitely be picking up the other two, really enjoyed it. :)

I once saw a spider out of the corner of my eye. I HATE SPIDERS!

I'd say I hope it was a mouse, but is that any better?

:)

Eeeek, Angella, I'm not sure what's better! : )

no, no, no - spiders are easier to catch!
I've had more than my share of mice in past abodes and wouldn't wish them on anyone. Plus there's the hantavirus thing!

Disclaimer - I'm going on the premise that it's not one of those nasty-ass spiders that you posted a picture of awhile back. lol Then it might be a different story.

OK, I guess we'll all hope that it was a nice friendly big spider who came out into the light and got scared and ran away and packed up its bags and moved into the bushed far far away. Right? RIGHT?

ok.

whew.

(but seriously, if it was a spider, it was big!)
