Spring Springs Eternal

I'm really enjoying the days getting longer. I mean, really.

I know a lot of people get really frustrated by the weather during winter, but that's never been a huge complaint of mine. I don't mind winter, actually, it's all about getting cozy and watching the storms.

I don't have much to say, however, about the short dark days. You know the days I mean. Some of those leave home in the dark, get home after dark days. Or the never get outside during the light days?

I'm loving looking out the window at 6 or 6:30 and seeing a glow still in the sky and I love waking up in the morning and not having to turn a light on to get dressed.

Spring is on its way and I'm pretty darn happy to see it.

Well, when you put it that way, sure, I like it too.

I'm tired of all the snow. I tried getting the Girl to say it looked nice the other night when it was dumping down on us, but she wasn't having any of it. We were too busy trying to keep the car on the road.

So, yay Spring.

I've been so happy to be able to feel less nocturnal - going to and leaving from work in the dark was getting to me - now it's actually lightish. Yay for Spring!!!

Does not feel like spring at all on Ontario- we woke up to temperatures on the wrong side of -15C this morning. I'm starting to get very, very tired of this! I need spring, and sunshine, and to feel my toes again, and be able to abandon my constant fear of frostbite, and to no longer have to shovel the fucking driveway again...and again...and again!!!

me too, I can't wait for DST even though we lose an hour of sleep. ;)

I'm sneezing from all the pollen but I don't care!

It really hits home when it gets dark at night and I realize I haven't seen the sun for days. Today was a bit like that. I did go out but it's so cold here that your nose freezes pretty quickly.

McGone, maybe she'll see the pretty pretty of the snow if you had her all wrapped up in a blankie and were rubbing her feet? (Just a thought) But yes, yay Spring!

Tod, the lighter evenings are lovely!

Jenn, roll on Spring, eh?

Sorry Alexandra! I'll try not to rub it in kay! ; )

Yvonne, I forgot about the lost sleep. Nuts. Oh well, suppose it's worth it!

Aurora, maybe you need one of those nose warmer thingies... like earmuffs but for your nose! ; )

LeahA, yeah, the dewy mornings are nice. *gets all dreamy*
