I have a hard time answering the question "what's your favourite" when it comes to movies, books, songs, or, well, a few things, now that I start to think about it.

I mean, I know who my favourite band is, but could I pick just one of their songs as my favourite? Nope.

And as I was looking at this picture, it made me think of the Beatles' song "Golden Slumbers", which made me try to think of my favourite Beatles song, but I couldn't.

Favourite movie? Can't put it down to just one.

Book I'd read over and over? I have three shelves full, as a matter of fact.

So am I the exception or the rule?

Do you have favourites? Or are you more like me and find it hard to pick the one book/movie/song/etc. that's your ultimate fave?

I think having a favourite is a sign of a limited imagination :)

Totally. Whenever I'm asked a "what's my favourite" question my mind goes blank. I think it's because I suspect people always expect a witty response.

I am the same way. I can't pick a favourite song, book, movie, etc. I can pick a favourite band though- The Doors. They are my obsession. Other than that I don't really have favourites. I probably couldn't even tell you my favourite colour.

I have canned answers for the most common questions. Most were probably accurate at one time in my life, but are now outdated (although, The Clash is still the only band that matters.) I have trouble with top 10 lists.

My favourite place on the planet is Tofino.

Okay fine, I haven't been EVERYWHERE but I have been lots of places and Tofino is better than all of them.

Oh I totally didn't answer your question did I? I have favourite songs and books and shoes and movies and tv shows and shoes but they're temporary favourites and change often. That's allowed right?

Well then, I must have a very un-limited imagination Dominic ;)

Michael, I totally blank out too! I usually can't even think of one book/movie/song!

TLSG, the Doors are in my top four ;) And I think I could do a favourite colour if pushed to! heh

Jim, top ten lists leave so much out! :)

EB, Tofino is pretty awesome, it's true! Fave shoes? Cool! Yeah, I hear you on the temporary favourites thing too. :)
ten. That's allowed right?

I usually have a couple of bands/films/books that I will ALWAYS love and then a few that I am in love with of the moment.

For example: my favourite band of all time is Oasis. Right now, I love Vampire Weekend. So I'm not sure which I'd say if someone asked.

I'm indecisive.

Yeah, that's true too, sometimes I have a current one that I love but there are usually some that I'll always love! :)

I couldn't pick a favourite anything if my life depended on it.
I could tell you things I enjoy from time to time, but depending on the time that you ask, depends on what I would say, so therefore, not really 'a favourite'.
I too thought I was the exception to the favourite rule, and not having one, but now it seems I'm not alone.
