Oh The Irony

Apparently if you get really annoyed at someone, like, so annoyed that you write a ranty blog post about the fact that you haven't heard from them in (insert ranty voice here) TOO LONG (end ranty voice) the universe will get a naughty look on its face and with a wink to the cosmos, will have that person email you later that day in order to make all the voices in your head that have been arguing with each other spontaneously combust.

Not wanting to send the nasty, grumpy, angry email that first came to mind, I sent a rather short, neutral one saying we could set something up for later this week.

So now maybe that'll happen. Or not. I'm not holding my breath for it, that's for sure.

But, oh Universe, you tricky thing you. You sure got me with this one. (Although, not really, because I think I've pretty much gotten to a point of almost completely writing him off, though apparently not quite, but all in all, could we stop with the ha ha ha tricks with this guy already please Universe? Thanks.)

Maybe it's just me, but isn't this boy causing you way more drama than you need or want? Maybe he is worth it, but it seems from your writing that he's just a guy, maybe he has good characteristics that you thought you saw on that first date, but don't forget the aspects of his character he's showing now.

For me I say you are worth more than all that he is putting you through, why don't you find a patio space and enjoy the fabulous weather, and a few drinks in he'll be as interesting as watching CPAC

I love the wonderful tapestry you weave around somebody without mentioning them :)

SnP, yeah, he's probably just a guy and I will certainly not forget (as you put it) the aspects of his personality he's showing me right now. For sure.

Mentioning what Jonathan? (And whatever you do, don't mention the war, eh Basil?)

On an unrelated note, the cover art sure is nice. How's the book?

I really enjoy your blog. Do you mind if I link to it on mine?

I think that's a bit of an unfair statement. He hasn't done anything (which is, I suppose, his biggest offence). Other than a request for coffee which seems to be what a relationship if built around?

Seriously, forget about building sandcastles in the sky with him and if he calls then he calls. Say yes, or no, based on how you feel at that point in time.

*cue scene from random police story*
*man w/ megaphone steps up in front of crowd*
*Man1: "Nothing to see here"*
* crowd reluctantly disperses *

Isn't it pretty Yamuna? I haven't read it yet, should probably get on that! ;) said...

Thanks Esme! Go for it :)

You know, Anonymous, it's always suspicious to me when the police in the tv shows tell the crowd there's nothing to see here. It always makes me think there must BE something to see and they're covering it up! ;)
