Oh...

I just scrolled back through a few weeks' worth of blog posts (I was looking for something but got distracted and now have forgotten what I was looking for!) and man... it has been quite the few weeks around here!

(We had massive flooding just about two months ago and so I think other things have paled in comparison to that?)

We had an earthquake, and then snow and cold cold temperatures and wind chill and my building had broken pipe and plumbing issues and therefore heating issues and then more snow and that led to delivery issues again (gas and food and who knows what else) and now it's Omicron show down time and "everyone" seeming to get sick (people I know who haven't been sick this whole time are coming down with it - sigh.)

And personally, I had that awful black ice morning and return to (now scary) work after break and Jason still dealing with the flooding at his place (which does impact me) and being nervous about my booster shot and I could scroll again to see what else has gone on but instead I think I'll just be proud of me for handling what turns out to be quite a lot.  Good job me!

It always reassuring scrolling back and remembering, and rewarding yourself, for getting through a poop-ton of not nice things over the past two months out there on the West coast.

Congrats on surviving all of that. Give yourself a much deserved pat on the back. And remember that you've successfully survived.
