Bliss

The days are getting longer.  On both ends.  In ways that I can actually, really notice.

Not that long ago, leaving for work was leaving not long after sunrise and seeing the sun come up as I drove.  Now I'm leaving for work and the sun has been up for a bit.  So mornings are lighter.

But even more noticeable is the longer evenings.  Light at 5.... 5:30... maybe even a hint of it at 6!  It's lovely.  It's emotionally light...ening.  It really is.  We made it.

And we've had some days here lately of pure glorious sunshine.  So welcome when we're used to dark and grey and maybe a little dreary.

This was an ok Winter for me dark wise... for some reason.  Maybe I was just too distracted by other things and life and work to notice as much, but I'm still loving the lighter mornings and longer days and dusky light in the evenings.  Loving it.  Enjoying it.  Being thankful for it for sure.
