It's Spring

Well, officially a day or two ago, but still... Spring is here here... even if it felt like it was here a bit earlier.

Rumours (not really) are abounding about ending the time change.  We voted on it here a while ago and now in the states it is doing something or other Federally, but who knows how long that kind of thing takes but there is hope, perhaps that this might have been our last time change?

Except... now there's debate on *which* version of time to stick with and well that just gets to sounding silly because I personally just want to not have to gain or lose an hour twice a year.  Sure, I survived it this year I guess... although the week of terrible sleep would disagree.

It's still weirdly light out later than "normal" so I'm still not really fully done with the WTF-ness of it.

But yes, it's Spring.  Which means... no more really really cold days for a while?  I've been dealing with "shoulder season blanket" time for the last couple of weeks.  Too hot for a night or two (the other week I had one night of basically summer blanket situation which was really weird) and then back to full Winter blankets and then the sort of in between "Spring" blanket.... so yeah, we're in mixed temperatures for sure.  There was a wind the other day that had a real bite to it.  Early Spring.  Not warm.  But warm-ish.  Mostly.  My radiator is still on, but low.  My hot water bottle is still out but hasn't been used in a few days and the last time I used it I poured it out before it fully cooled.

So our blossoms are out and our days are longer and our temperatures aren't bone-chilling... I'm trying not to look too far ahead (so trying not to be nervous for Summer) and just deal with right now, so, Spring.  A transition out of Winter, really.

Happy slightly late Equinox, eh?

Can't wait for the time not to change twice a year. Don't care whether they go Daylight or Standard. Just stop messing.
