I imagine there are folks who study dreams and I could probably google and get some answers about the one I had last night but instead I'm going to babble about it here, yay!
So Jason and I are going through a bumpy/not great patch in our friendship thing (I'm legit not sure we'll come out of it still as close but that's not a today problem to solve) and so that explains why he was in this stressful and odd dream but the rest is a bit of a mystery to me.
So, Jason and I were at Burning Man (which, remember, I haven't attended in years and it's not like it's that time of year or anything so NO real idea why it showed up) and there is an art car called the Monaco which is build to look like a ship (it has sails it can put up and then can shut down the engine and use the sails if the wind is right) and there is another art car (that actually had an issue while driving NOT at Burning Man and burnt down so doesn't exist anymore) called the Mayan Warrior and I've always had a strong emotional attachment to both of these mobile works of art but again, I'm not sure why they showed up in this dream.
So Jason and I were in the lower decks of the boat art car (it doesn't have one) and the Mayan Warrior came "too close" and clipped the Monaco boat car we were in (this part might have been from a video of a tv show that follows boat crews....) and the Monaco flipped over and over and over. Like a roll over crash and *in* the dream I could feel the rolling happening. But it was at slow enough speed that we were thrown around but not hurt (but like if it was all at slow speed then the rolling wouldn't have happened?) and I sort of woke up somewhere around there pretty confused.
So like while I can understand having a stressful dream with Jason in it (makes sense) and I can guess at my brain taking the "boats too close to each other" from the video clip I saw, I do not understand the Burning Man aspect or the art car aspect. WHAT on earth was my brain thinking?!
