A First

I was a little late to get somewhere the other day and so was walking rather quickly, but even so, when I walk somewhere, I always pay attention to the dogs cuz DOGS!

So as I'm walking along, out of the corner of my eye I saw this white husky looking young dog completely trip and fall over.  Like a full on tumble roll landing on back and flopping over onto one side almost like a complete trip and roll?  I thought this was quite unusual as I've not seen a lot of dogs falling over, especially not on, like flat sidewalks?  So I kept watching, expecting to see a quick leap back up or an embarrassed look or something, but no, this dog was continuing to lie there and had its head tilted backwards and its eyes on something.  I followed the "fallen" dog's eye line and it was, in fact, looking at a dog approaching towards the street we were on.

So like this dog, in dramatic fashion, threw itself onto the ground to force its owner to stop walking so that it would be more likely to get to meet the approaching dog (who was at least a half a block away!)

This is probably the funniest thing I've seen and really made me want to be in this dog's life to see what else it came up with in creative fashion!

I really wish I had somehow filmed it to show you guys it was the funniest thing when I realized the dog hadn't tripped or fallen but had rather made a dramatic attempt to meet another dog!

(I assume this was a younger dog as it was smaller in size and I assume a husky type breed and they apparently have some personalities but yeah, go you little dude!  Make those friends!)
