An "Oldie"

One of the aqua fitness instructors plays mainly "oldies" songs which are great to sing along to quite frankly!

The other week, one of the songs that came on was "My Life" by Billy Joel and I had this distinct memory of singing some of the song as a young kid and directing it (in my head only of course!) towards my parents.

 "I don't care what you say anymore this is my life! (do do do do doo) Go ahead with your own life, leave me alone!"

Between that and "Hey Teacher, leave those kids alone!" (which I have a memory of "getting in trouble" for singing) it's funny to think that 5 or so year old me felt that much... rebellion? against my parents but that actual teenage me didn't really do the wild rebellion streak one might imagine.

But it's funny the memories songs can bring back eh?  Here's to the good ones!
