What I've been seeing lately is people asking why X or Y hasn't happened or why these or those people or lawmakers or politicians doing "SOMETHING!" about the sh*t happening in the States (that's impacting pretty much everyone, unless I've got it wrong?)
I, of course, have no answer to that and I do wish we all stayed off line and off the news picking up crafted stories and being fed some version of propaganda but that's a pipe dream.
But I do wonder if this behavour and these actions and choices are so far out of left field that the "higher ups" are playing by the usual playbook and expectations rather than reacting in a way that might better suit what seems to be going on.
Like that one skit by that comedian (as if that's helpful!) who said it's like there's a horse loose in the hospital (John Mulaney) and no one has any real idea what to do because, I mean, it's a HORSE loose in a HOSPITAL!!!!
All I know is I want it to stop. But that that's also probably a pipe dream. And it's not just one or two folks. It's seemingly pointing out an entire system that's failing. Badly. And a whole bleeping lot of people who think what I just said is a ridiculous overreaction.
And I get really really freaked out by the disconnect between those trains of thought.
Which... as I said the other day, is why I think my brain is quite enjoying wondering if so and so is going to make that hit or strike out... you know?
