Nap Time(d) (Literally)

I don't regularly allow myself to nap (as it can mess with my sleep and sometimes my body....) but when I do, I set an alarm on my phone.

My theory is that if I set the alarm for 15 or 20 (or 30 if I'm feeling risky) minutes I won't get into a deep deep sleep and that will be less likely to mess with my sleep that night.

However.... I rarely just do one chunk of nap.  Like, I'll sleep for the 15 minutes and then the alarm will go off and I'll be sleepy enough to want more so I'll reset the alarm for another 15 minutes but still... I know I'm trying to game the sleep system and so I'm kind of ok with these timed naps every once in a while.

Which, when I think about it, is possibly/probably what I meant when I left myself a blog note that said "sleep bubbles" a while ago.  I was probably trying to describe these little pockets of nap sleep I allow myself to have from time to time.
