So a couple of weeks back a number of folks around this area were half mumbling that it was already spring and that we didn't even have any snow this winter!
Many of us who have been here a while quietly said "just wait before you say that, it's not February yet" and sure enough the weather this week has turned cold (not FREEZING but cold) and there are chances of snow in the forecast.
I'm happy for the cold (I'm not sure why other than it's supposed to be cold right now and I worry about summer being too hot already) but I think I could have done without the stress of snow maybe? Because the snow that's possible doesn't seem to be enough to shut the city (and my work) down but just enough to make driving a little more unsafe and stressful and that's my least favourite.
But I'm not trying to count my chickens before they've hatched and forecasts can change and I'll just do my best with whatever shows up and I'll try not to worry before anything happens. But yeah, it's colder this week. Which is normal for February, but funny considering it hasn't really been all season and March/spring is really just right around the corner. Go figure, eh?
