Sad Face Emoticon

One of the... no.  The worst part about finishing an awesome book or book series or tv series is all of a sudden you don't get to hang out with those people any more and you miss them and their stories.

So boo to that.

Boo, I say.  Boo!

Any good tv or book series for me?

(Hmmm, I just thought... maybe that's why people watch soaps?  Because the characters just go on and on and on.  Unless they die.  But come back as their evil twin.  But then un-die but have no memory?)

I just finished reading Blood Song by Anthony Ryan, and I really enjoyed it.

One warning though, it's the first book of a planned trilogy...but the next book isn't due out until next year. That part sucks.

I vote for House of Cards on Netflix with Kevin Spacey.

Hmmm... maybe I should wait Bad.Days! ;) I'll check it out though

OOooh, I like him Sanibel Gal! I find a lot of the shows I'm liking aren't coming from traditional cable anymore!

House of Cards rocks!

What about Gillian Flynn or Chevy Steven's books? A little dark and grisly, but I really enjoy them!

K, House of Cards it is! :)

I read Dark Places... don't know Chevy Stevens though

She's a Canadian writer and all of her books are based on Vancouver Island - I really liked her style!

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn is great too :-)

Let us know how HoC goes!

I have really been enjoying the Steven James books with Patrick Bowers as the main character. There are 5 out now (I think that is the right number) and the titles are based on chess pieces...Pawn, Rook, Bishop, Queen.

Cool, I'll take a look!

Started House of Cards, some great people in it! I'm a little bit lost with the US politics but will see how it goes :)

Tell me what you like first:

Do you like Fantasy ? Anything of David Gemmell is a perfect choice

Thriller ? Dan Brown is an obvious but excellent choice.

Tv series:

Comedy: How i Met your Mother, Coupling
Drama: Breaking Bad
Action: True Blood
Fantasy: Game of Thrones

Jurgen, David Gemmell is the only one of those I haven't read/seen :)
