Well, it seems I found a way to beat the time change. But... I do not want to do it again, so I can't really recommend it to you.
Turns out if you a) get a UTI (urinary tract infection) on the time change Sunday and then b) have someone come in to "help" you at work on the Monday that ends up meaning you're there for a full day which means you're so exhausted on that Monday you're ready for bed at 5pm it makes the time change quite easy, yay!
Well... except that you then have a UTI that you're too stubborn and tired to deal with a doctor for and you spend most of that Monday evening crying every time you have to use the bathroom and then you'll finally realize you can't beat it yourself even though you're trying and you'll call the doctor's office Wednesday and be reminded how the next day is a holiday and you really shouldn't go through the weekend with an infection.
But... if you're me and your doctor decides to be amazing (and the office receptionist person as well) they'll call you at the end of their shift/day and fax in a prescription for antibiotics and you'll take them and start feeling better an hour later and wish you had dealt with a doctor days ago but hey, anything that feels better is good right now so yay?
So I mean, you *could*, if you wanted, try the "exhaust yourself" part and skip the getting an infection part? I wouldn't recommend both to be honest. Well, I mean I wouldn't actually recommend either but I have (knock on wood) barely noticed the time change so... uh... yay? *weak cheer*
