Just A Little Chill

One of the things I really like about this time of year is being able to warm up.

Like, not to jinx anything but we've been having lovely warm days with beautiful sunshine.

The days are right on the edge of being a little too warm (sometimes I've had to throw a fan or two on and put my blinds down) but the evenings are chilling down enough that I find myself at a certain point having to go put on warmer clothes.  A hoodie... maybe fuzzy socks.  And I like that.

It's much easier to feel a little cold and warm up than it is to feel a little hot and cool down.  At least for me it is.

Nights have been funny though.  Or maybe it's me again, hard to know.  But I'm having to start the night with blankets off/down and often just a sheet for my top half but by morning I've usually pulled up a blanket.  BUT... not all of them.

There were a few nights of all the blankets (I only have one quilt "extra" on from Summer time) but the last week or so it's been "warm" at night, so certainly we're still in a "shoulder" season temperature wise.

I suppose it's fair to say that mornings and nights are brisk... but not cold yet.  I'll have a jacket on when I leave for work but down to just a shirt on my way home.  Early Fall.  Kinda nice.
