Mixed

If you look at it from just the right angle (and ignore the bigger picture/issue) we've had a simply lovely October so far.

If you open your eyes a little more and look a bit more carefully, we're in an extended drought and heat wave.  (Which means while the temperatures are nice, they're actually too hot for this time of year.)

I haven't used my fans in a week or two, and was thinking about putting them away but now today is possibly going to be 23 degrees so... they're not going away quite yet... just in case.

I'm freezing when I leave the house for work and boiling by the time I leave to come home.  It's "wear a jacket to work and carry it home" weather.

I will say though that twenty degree weather in October still doesn't have the same heat bite as twenty degree weather in July or August does, so that's a bit of a blessing for me, even if it's hard to figure out what to wear layer wise... but I dunno man... in terms of climate and environment and the bigger picture of weather, I just don't know.

Updated to add: A weather person just said that maybe the wildfire smoke will keep the heat down today.... sigh.
