Woden

In one of those "I've looked at the word for too long and now it's weird", I'm currently thrown off by the word Wednesday.

WeD... NEs day.  But we don't get to pronounce it how it looks so we say like... WedENSday so then like SPELL it that way!!!

I get that it apparently came from Oden... Woden's day.  But my point stands.  Wodensday makes more frigging sense than Wednesday.  How did that d and e and n get all jumbled like that?  WHO WAS IN CHARGE?

Yeah.  Wednesday is weird and "wrong".  And so is purple.  But at least purple is just weird... it's spelled just fine for how it is!  

Today, my friends, should be Wedensday!  It just should!
