I'm Not Sure How

But I seem to have lost a pillow case?

Or, more honestly, a .... um... pre... pillow case?

Like I have two pillow cases on each of my pillows.  A thin liner type one and a good over one.  I wash the over one every wash time but I only wash the liner (and over) every few washes.  

In early Summer/late Spring I purchased some "cool" bedding, which meant I swapped out my sheets and pillow cases and I washed all the things and all that jazz.

Well at some point I was making my bed post wash and could only find *one* of my two "lining" pillowcases.

Now I know things to missing in the wash.  I think most of us have a missing sock or two, I know I do! It's what happens, right?

But a pillowcase?  How would that go "missing"?

I looked through everything I washed in case it had I dunno gotten stuck inside something else?  Most likely other bedding?  But nope.

Maybe I folded it and put it away with the 'warmer' bedding and I'll find it again in Fall?

Maybe a neighbour permanently borrowed it?  (I did go back down and look around the laundry area right after, it wasn't there.)

So I don't know.  I don't know if it's around and just yet to be found (in a drawer) or if it's gone bye bye and hanging out with my one black sock and short yellow sock at a farm in the country over the rainbow!
