Who?

I haven't been annoyed by seagulls lately and so I figured they had taken their (noisy) babies (teenagers) and moved on.

And then a few neighbours mentioned (when we were out looking at the eclipse cool-weirdness) that there is a "huge" owl living in the neighbourhood and they've watched it chase squirrels etc.

And it wasn't until today when someone online mentioned they'd put a plastic owl on their roof and so birds don't poop on their sunroof anymore (that's the name for the car ones, what do we call the house ones... SKYLIGHT!) so birds don't poop on their skylight anymore, and my brain went, hey.... wait a second!

MAYBE, just maybe the seagulls moved away cuz nesting season is over or MAYYYYYYBE they moved away cuz giant predator moved in!

Whatever the case, I hope they stay away next baby season too, and thanks Mr/Ms owl if you had something to do with my delightful avian peace and quiet?
