We hit the solstice, which means days will start to get longer again.
We likely won't really notice it for a while, maybe a month or more, but we made it to here and now we head back towards the longer days and the rest of it all.
I've been mellower so far this year with the whole holiday pressure and I'm hoping that I can maintain that over this weekend and such. I know next week is a bit of a strange one as it feels like this sort of in between time where places are still technically open and working but it feels like nothing is happening and lots of people are out of office or on holidays and so it ends up being this sort of half non week of waiting until after the first or second of January. Know what I mean?
Whether you've celebrated already or are going to be celebrating soon, or neither, or both or whatever makes you happy, may you and yours have a happy, healthy end of the year and a prosperous and delightful 2024.
