A New Year

Well here we are in a New Year.  I'd already gotten confused about what year to write (no, seriously, I've been accidentally writing 2024 for at least a month now... not always but enough!) so I'm ahead of the game there.

Last week I had a sleep so wonderful that I actually texted C-Dawg about it and said I felt like I could take on the world!  And, well, I haven't slept much at all since, and I feel like I absolutely can not take on the world and can actually barely take on my day to day functioning!  So, I'm hoping for some much better sleep.

Not that this has anything to do with the New Year other than I was in bed and awake when the clock struck 12 and I was woken up a good few times as the night went on so my dazed and confused lack of energy was how my New Year felt (for the first few hours anyway!)

Today sort of marks the end of the holiday season, although I believe the "12th" day of Christmas is the 5th of January and I know many are still or yet to have their Winter-type celebrations, but for many of us, the New Year (and the stat holiday therein) is when things start to get back to more normal.  

I have the holidays to talk about but if you see above... I'm exhausted and lacking the mental drive to make words make sense.  So I'll just sign off with a "Happy New Year!" and will check in soon enough.  Be well, y'all, hope this year's a good one!
