Don't Mention the War *

Oh hey y'all. Just thought you'd like to know what I saw in the store today.

Easter candy.

That's right.

January 10th. Easter's a comin!

Hippity hop hop, that means I don't have to do Valentine's day. Yay!

Updated Jan. 21st to add:

I just bought my first Cadbury's Creme Egg of the year. Hey, if they're selling them, I figure I should buy some before they run out. Or some other such logic.

Yes, I feel a little dirty when I think about how fast I ate it.

No, I waited 'til I was home. I wanted to eat it in the car though.

Jonathan, don't say things like that, they'll get ideas! ; )

Tod, it's getting rather silly.

Jenn, I know, good eh?

Rachel, maybe we can try to skip it... but I'm suspecting it's going to find its way to us anyway. *sigh*

Alexandra, I was pretty surprised myself, usually they wait til after V-day. Craziness!

Maybe they're ditching Valentines day for the new family day holiday (whoever THEY are.) They're only 4 days apart, and one of them is going to have to take a back seat - can't have two special days that close together. Maybe family day is the NEW valentines day! Sounds good to me!

February 18th, it's a new stat holiday...or is that only in Ontario? Oh boo...I just checked wikipedia and you BC-ites don't get Family Day. You'll have to head to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario or Manitoba! So sorry about that...

You can come to my house if you want...

OH POOH! Here you had me all excited. Since I don't have a valentine and am not likely to get one by then I was hopping to skip Valentines to. Unfortunately when I did my weekly shopping today there it was two aisles worth!

Oh well at least there was a massacre to remember. :)

Victoria: Hope you start feeling better soon. I left you a present on my blog.
