Think About It

What's the nicest thing you've done for yourself lately?

Just for yourself.

If you can't think of anything, it's time to get out there and do it.

Do something nice for yourself.

You deserve it.

Me? I bought myself flowers.

So what did you do?

UPS: Unrelated Post Script: Know what's really cool about this month? The days go with the day numbers. Know what I mean? (First day of the month was the first but also a Monday. So the whole month is, like, in sync. I find that cool. I'm built crazy like that.)

Painted my toenails! And hey if enough people comment with different answers, we'll have a whole list of nice little things to do for ourselves, what a great idea :)

I bought myself a very cute (and somewhat pricey) purse this morning. It makes me v. happy.

That's good, yay!

I let myself sleep in and didn't get mad at myself for doing it this morning :D

I allowed myself one big, (but with very healthy ingredients!) monster cookie from Planet Organic as a treat while I recover from surgery. But ya know, it didn't really taste that good. I should have bought a brownie instead when I had the chance!

And how is the recovery going? Well I hope!

Oh, I'm a big baby when it comes to pain! It was a hernia repair and I'm discovering that you use your ab muscles for pretty much EVERYTHING. (The only thing that doesn't hurt is opening and closing my eyes. lol)
Just hope it heals quickly so I can get back to working out and normal life again.
Thanks for asking, V. ;)

Gosh, that doesn't sound good. Unless you can do a lot of eye opening and closing!

Keep on getting better!!

I'm working on it!
Thanks again, V. ;)

I bought myself the entire Detective Murdoch mystery series (minus one trade paperback and one out of print) even though I have no money left. Ah the Victorian era. Where did the manners go?

Victoria said...

Yay for books!

And manners!! :D
