Hey You!

I don't want to get into political choices or debates or flame wars or anything, but I do want to remind you all, Canadians and Americans alike, to register and vote in the upcoming elections.

(Yes, my 'Merican friends, we've got us an election coming up up here too!)

We're incredibly lucky to live in countries where we have the right to vote; so exercise that right.

And be proud.

And try to break with the trend of the last two elections, America, and vote in somebody who won't be so embarrassing that you have to do a second edition of sorryeverybody.com ;)

My birthday is November 3rd and I would like a Democrat in the White House for the first year that I celebrate 40 (I'm not actually turning 40 but I'm celebrating it anyway because everyone seems to be turning 29 forever and that's just lame!)

sorryeverybody.com made me giggle and cry at the same time. which was confusing.

Well hope you get your birthday wish EB.

Thanks for the gentle reminder, I do now have it marked on my calendar and my voter card in a place I hopefully won't forget it - now I just have to decide who to vote for... sometimes I wish we had it as clear cut as they do down south...maybe we really just need to get Hillary to become a Canadian, it would make it so much easier
