I have butterflies.
Not nervous-to-do-something butterflies.
When-can-I-see-him-again butterflies.
This isn't good.
I don't want butterflies.
And I never expected to have butterflies over this person. And never have before.
Maybe it's just an anomaly.
Hopefully.

Hmm, I've never met that kind of butterflies. When I get anxious around someone intimidating or unpleasant, my throat clenches up and I can't articulate myself. But not butterflies.
I have them too. They come at the most inopprotune times, don't they?!

Dis boy = teh bad news, so I don't want butterflies for him! Well, he's not bad bad news, just not someone I should be thinking about romantically because it wouldn't be a good relationship kinda thing.
Do you work with said boy? If so, that ain't good. You know what they say... don't get your honey where you get your money ;-)

I get bad-news-butterflies on occasion as well. Not butterflies exactly, but something manlier. Like bats, or an owl. I've found even when I know they're bad news I regret not chasing them if I don't. What's the saying, "you never regret what you do, only what you don't?" It's a lie, but it's lying in the right direction.
On the other hand, I have regretted the chase. Maybe they're Bats of Regret...
