I was watching a tv show the other day and the main character went into her garage and dug out a bike she hadn't been on in years.
And all of a sudden I wanted nothing more than to go for a bike ride.
I don't have a bike anymore, but I think I might have to find one and take it out for a spin.

I love bike riding! I hadn't done it for years then stayed in Holland for 3 months, I've ended up bringing Jerry (yes he has a name because he is THAT awesome and pink, very pink!) back home with me :)
Go bike riding! It's awesome
I have had the same desire the last little while considering it is so chic these days. However I have no where to store one if I was to get one. Well I do but it would require a lot of tiny apartment rearranging and I'm not so sure about that. So for know I will be living vicariously through you.
PS I'm about 85% sure I'm going to be running the half marathon in October - it's your chance to run it with me if you want.
That sounds perfect LMM!
I don't have anywhere to really store mine either SnP... I mean, if I had one ;) I've seen some folding ones lately but they just look silly! (And I might sign up for the 8K but not the half, YIKES!)
In my old place, I pulled the couch out a bit and kept my bike between it and the wall...the seat was perfect for a can of beer and I didn't lose much floor space at all!
now it is on the deck my boat and I walk by it every day. I find myself going for a row in the dingy more than bike rides lately but, it is all about getting out in the fresh air not about the mode of transportation one has or chooses.
I love walking through Victoria's lush neigborhoods and to the pub, riding my bike for erands and rowing/putputting up the gorge or Ogden Pt to check out the cruise ships or drop the crab traps or get a sweet vantage point for a peachy sunset...
You can't beat a bike though, it is the best mode of transportation ever invented!!
Peace,
Allan
Sounds perfect Allan :)
