So

So you know what I think has been really hard to wrap my brain around from Friday?

The pretty clear evidence that a good looking, interesting, seemingly decent guy found me interesting.

Interesting and attractive.

Not because of a witty online profile, or a week's worth of exchanged dating site messages, but because he met me in person... we talked, got along and, well... he liked me.

Or, liked enough of what he met to want to get to know me more.

It's hard for the not so nice voices in my head to make anything bad out of that.

I think I might actually have to accept that I'm attractive and interesting and... well, that's not so easy on the bad voices.

They're not sure what to do with themselves.

It's been a weird few days y'all.

Everything I've read on your blog has suggested to me that you are interesting, intelligent and attractive in all kinds of way. Sometimes its just reading between the lines, or extrapolating from some event you've described, but its always there as a running thread.

As is your inability to recognize or see it, of course. ;)

You might want to see Inside Out, the new Pixar film. Not only is it a pretty good movie, it might give you a way to frame the bad voices and put them where they belong.

Everything that I have read on your blog and the few pictures I have seen have made me believe that you are interesting, intelligent, warm, caring, attractive, and decent human being. The fact that someone you have met thinks the same is not a surprise to me.

Remember, I'm sure there are lots of people whose head turn as you walk by (especially on a beach... :o) ) Humans can be their own worst enemies when it comes to confidence and acceptance.

I hope your inner positive voice takes over. You deserve happiness.

Gentlemen. You are, if I haven't said it before, two of the kindest, most supportive, positive people in my life and certainly on my blog. I so appreciate your support and kindness and just general awesomeness. Thank you. I wish I could buy you both a beverage. Cheers.

-I don't...know you, but you do seem swell enough (I come back on occasion because you do possess a way of saying the best polite things...if I may say it that way). Anyways, one is glad to hear your being looked at with romantic eyes if not more (!), in terms of who you are overall and about that beach thing mentioned above by Elliott, I've got a good one for you:
Since we've been having such good weather, some girl sent me an attractive picture of herself sitting sideways on the beach in a bikini, smiling into the camera and the caption read, from her, "On the beach and have the blankets out; the drinks ready and the chicken wings. -We also have sand in the potato salad!"
Ha, ha, ha; maybe not extremely humorous, yet it does fit her and the level of being able to throw a good punch line in about the everydayness of having fun.
-~That~ is always attractive in a girl.
Ciao for now: HB CDN today -Just got home myself...leaving the fireworks, this time, for the kids to gaze up into the stars at come nightfall; I'm sun-soaked...in a good way from a good whole day. Hope yours was the same.
