I know, I can't figure out why all provinces didn't go for the same day... so weird and awkward!
BC went with our day thanks to (apparently) the ski resort lobby that wanted to have a 3 day weekend earlier in the ski season, so they could profit.That's about the only answer/reason I've seen that makes sense.
