Do-Over Please!

I'm on my third day of dealing with heat/water/plumbing issues at my place.  Thankfully, and I repeat THANKFULLY, no major issues in my apartment specifically.  It's all (as far as I know) building issues.  (We're one of the many older "heat and hot water included" buildings which sounds great but also isn't always...)

I have to guess that whatever issues have been going on (I think today's is likely unrelated to the previous one?? Today's seems like a burst pipe, but I'm not... like, trained?) have been heat related.  Or cold related I suppose I should say.  And age.  As in, age of the building and pipes and.. *waves vaguely around* things.

Because I'm (so far!) not affected by water or massive loss of heat I'm mainly dealing with the "running water" noise.  Which, I mean, is literally what it is, at least this morning.  My 5 am wake up call of "why is someone having a really loud shower?" was not my favourite way to start a day.

On the other side of things, we had a dump of snow last night so while my place may be loud, it's pretty looking outside and yes, I so far still have heat and hot water and running water although I suppose I should maybe fill a couple of jugs just in case.

I mean... I hope the plumber type people can make it here today, but my drive home last night was the sketchiest I've had in a while... slippy slippy even with snow tires.  

Anyway, just half babbling and half venting.   Kind of have the grumps.  Hope you're well and staying safe and warm and healthy.  All the best for 2022, eh?  (And please may I have this week as a re-do since it's not been easy or calm or relaxing yet?  Thanks!)
