A Boost

I got my Covid booster shot.  And I'm fine.

I say that because I was kind of nervous to get this shot as I've heard it "knocked out" some people for a day or so. 

I maybe *maybe* was tired the night of, but that could also have been the stress and the walk there and back, through the snow (even technically a little bit uphill!)

My arm was sore for a few days after, still is a little if I really try to make it hurt.  (Shush, I'm weird, it's ok)

I found that taking a Tylenol and an Advil took the arm/muscle pain away for a good few hours, but I'm not recommending that to anyone because not a doctor not an expert not giving advice, nope!

I don't love getting shots although I'm thankfully not afraid of them like I know many are.  I just know there's generally discomfort around them and I am not a fan of discomfort.  Yes, it's an issue... I'm working on it.

So yeah, hopefully I can keep on being well and as Covid-free as possible.  (I assume I have not yet contracted it although I've never taken an antibody test or whatever it is that tells you if you maybe have had it... although I think it's kind of moot once you've had the vaccine?  Anyway...)

So I'm... "boosted" as the cool kids say and I bought some 3 layer cloth masks that aren't quite as painful to wear as the simpler masks I bought, what is it now... a couple of years ago?  Sigh.  I'm trying to be smart... smart enough I guess.  I don't know what's coming, none of us do of course, in the next month or so, so here's to being well and staying well and taking care of ourselves and each other.
