Last week, over the span of a handful of days, I was WAY too cold to sleep one night (like actually shivering... had to close my windows and my blinds and put on an extra blanket and it took me hours and hours to fall asleep because of the cold) and then way too warm to sleep a few nights later.
We're in May now, which means heat is trending upwards and I'm trying not to freak the bleep out about that fact and I'm also wondering if my thyroid weird body is having extra struggles regulating or figuring out heat, especially at night? I don't know man. I just know the morning I didn't sleep due to warmth it wasn't even *that* warm (22 C) that day and I woke up and started researching ways to cool down your bed.
I've never managed to fall asleep with a fan on but I'm sure going to be trying that before experimenting with bed cooling devices that cost ..... a lot of money. (Dudes, there's one I'd love to try that's like four thousand dollars, it uses water and also reads your biometrics which I don't need but I have read enough about it that I so just want to try it. But, like... for free.)
Spring is certainly here. April slipped by unnoticed I guess. I've already had my first "too hot" day and night of the season, and it was weirdly just a day or two after I had an "holy crap I'm freezing" night.
Go figure, eh?
