A shout of gratitude for the labour movement that came before me that allows me to have decent working hours and weekends and a whole slew of other protective work related measures, much appreciated! (She says while enjoying a stat holiday.... thanks to whoever for those too, eh?)
Sending good wishes to the young folks in my life who are heading into grade 12 despite my constant requests that they "stop growing up!" and I guess University students and all the returning to school folks in general. (But yeah, this whole young people growing up thing is pulling at my heart a great deal, I have a lot of friends' kids and my own family who will graduate this coming year. Waaaaahhhhhhh! Too soon, too fast! Too.... scary? So much unknown.)
