I apologized to my freezer this morning.
See, last night I made cookies (package cookies, not from scratch cookies) and put them in containers in the freezer.
This morning, I woke up and went to get something out of the fridge and saw that how I had placed the containers had left the freezer door slight ajar and I felt terrible! My poor freezer motor will have had to work hard ALL night to try to keep a temperature that it wasn't able to keep because I didn't pay enough attention when I was putting things away last night!
So yes, I actually said, out loud, I'm so so sorry! And I cleaned up the few things that had iced over a bit (on the lid/packaging) and put the containers in a different location and apologized again and made sure the door was fully shut this time.
But still, I feel so bad! (Not to mention not feeling great about the electricity usage and wear on the motor and all the rest.)
You can't tell me inanimate objects don't' have feelings, you don't know! And I don't see how apologizing hurts anyone anyway.
