My swim instructor is also a first year University student and so I asked her how her first University exam went.
She said she felt it went ok but that there was an issue.... she said that she and her friends didn't know that the exam would take place in a big gym (at UVic, where I also went, they take place in the main gym, like the one where the basketball games take place, etc.) and that there would be many exams running at the same time. I had a huge flashback when she mentioned this thinking back to my own exams in that gym and the noise and the space and the temperature and all of it. Memories man... I tells ya.
Anyway, she said they sat down and since they tell you not to look at the exam (they're laid face down on the desks) they didn't and then when time started they realized they were sitting in the wrong section/area! This wasn't the exam they were there for!
I felt so bad for her, but she seemed ok with it and said they only missed a few minutes of their time but still... I can totally see it happening and can imagine the OH SH*T feeling they might have had!
Exams man, always a time for stress, amiright?
