I got a sunburn.
INSIDE MY APARTMENT!!!!
Yeah, you read that right. I got a sunburn, on *half* of my face without even leaving my apartment.
See, I sit by my windows.
And last week on one of those beautifully sunny but chilly breeze days, I sat with the window open and let the sun just fill me with happy.
It was after a couple of hours of this that a part of my brain went "hey... dummy... that's *sunshine*!" and I got up to go to the bathroom and sure enough, half of my face was red. Ooops!!
I put the blind down after that, but thought it was pretty damn funny to get a bit of a mild sunburn on one side of my face by sitting by an open window.
It also made me realize that side of me gets a lot more sun exposure than I probably realize and so now I feel a little bad? (It's the side that faces the window when I'm driving too.... my poor left side, gah!)
Sun exposure. It can getcha, even from inside your own apartment! Heh.
