This weekend my best friend from high school let me know that her Mom died. (Her father had died several years ago.)
This friend's parents referred to me as their third daughter.
I'm so very sad. Knowing this is the way of things doesn't make the hurt any less. My heart goes out to my friend and her sister and their families.
