Argh!

I can't remember if I've ever mentioned this before, but I have this inability to stop reading a book once I've started.

Even if I'm not enjoying it that much (like right now) or really disliking it (as in the past). I'm not sure why I can't just put a book down, but I can't.

But, man oh man, am I ever glad when I'm done em.

Wish me speedy reading, would you?

I've had that trouble in the past but I've managed to overcome it. Do you have a fireplace?

No!

I'm just plodding along. Getting closer to the end though!

I just feel bad if I start a book and never finish it. It's like I feel sorry for the book or something.

I was like that in my early 20s but, now that I'm older, I feel a responsibility to not waste my time and have fewer qualms about cutting my losses. Which is to say that I started Atlas Shrugged but didn't get into it so I still own it so the option to finish it is there but I'm okay with the possibility that I may never know how it ends.

TLSG, me too. It's like I don't want to upset the book! *sigh* ;)

EB, but never knowing how it ends? My brain can't handle that! hee

I do the same thing!! Even if I don't like a book I keep reading in hopes it will get better!
