Whew

And once again, a long weekend has snuck up on me at just the right time.

At the most needed time, really.

So, Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Canadians. Be thankful for what you have and give your loved ones an extra hug.

The sad thing about Thanksgiving is, I once asked a roomful of americans why they celebrated it - i.e. where it originated from.

And they didn't know either.

Enjoy your long weekend, whether you know why you have it or not ;)

Well, this isn't American Thanksgiving, I think it's Columbus day or something in the States. For us, we celebrate the Harvest today...like, hey, thanks for all the food, yay we can survive winter! Kind of thing.

American thanksgiving is about the pilgrims and all that. Even a Canadian knows that!

Happy Thanksgiving! I agree that the long weekend came at the perfect time. It's been wonderful to spend most of it horizontal. What are you doing to celebrate?
