Um....

I just saw a really terrible Spam post.

It was in a group meant to be *just* about Burning Man (local to Seattle)....

The post (by a new to the group member) said that they had just lost their daughter, that she had been hit by a car on the way home from college and that the OP's heart bled every day (very sad...) and that he had bought her a PS5 and wouldn't be able to give it to her and so did anyone want to buy it instead, send him a PM?

I mean... I suppose it's wildly within the realm of possibility that shortly after your child is killed you think to sell off her unused PS5 but really?  What a horrible thing to "use" to try to scam someone.

I can't imagine thinking about selling things on a random facebook group had I just lost a child (or friend or relative or someone close), but hey, we're all different so....

Sigh.

If you're going to defraud folks, I guess you have to ABC - always be conning.
