No, not me this time! A neighbour's dog, I think.
I've mentioned that the building behind me has been doing construction type work.
Well at some point last week they were working the ground level right next to someone's balcony type thing and I heard a dog whining. I figured, yeah, that makes sense, the dog probably sees the people and wants to hang out.
Now, I've never heard a dog in that building before and I legit can't promise that's where the sound is coming from but do you know what I mean? That sad whine that dogs make, usually when they're alone and missing their human?
So this weekend, like Sunday morning, I was sitting having my tea and I heard what I assume is that same dog doing some very sad whining/crying. For hours. (At least from the time I woke up til the time I went to the gym and then came home and turned on some noise making things so I didn't have to listen to the poor sad thing.... is the owner not home? What is happening?!)
Either this dog is new to the building, or I've just never heard them before but now I can because of all the greenery being gone?
I feel like if I can hear it, the neighbours actually *in* the building must hear it too, but hey, not my circus, not my monkeys kind of thing I guess, eh?
