Ahhhhhh

Oh what a delight a cooler day and night is!  Heaven.

Turns out most people I talked to yesterday had a hard time sleeping due to the heat so, I suppose I should be happy it wasn't just me?  (I just want to sleep though...)

They're predicting stupid temperatures for the weekend so I'm working REALLY hard to just enjoy the not terrible temperatures while they're here.  (While whimpering)

The fan pointing out the window thing seems to actually bring down temperatures, I don't have the science to tell you why and I don't know if it's something specific to this building's layout (since it was a neighbour's suggestion to try) but so far when I wake up and turn on the "pointing out the window" box fan the thermometer next to me starts going downwards.  Yesterday I turned the fan around when the outside air felt cooler and the temperatures inside started going up within minutes.  I don't know man!!!

Maybe it creates some sort of wind tunnel vortex or something, but it *seems* to be working so I'm going to keep going with it and hope for the best. 

I was lying in bed last night thinking "don't just blog about the weather/heat all summer!" so, you know, I'll try not to!
