I did get in to my doctor and mentioned the "aching all over" concern and she said it was likely "just" a virus.
I still think it's best if I try to reduce my sugar intake for four billion (approx) reasons but I mean I guess it could have been a virus there for a while. (I did take a Covid test at the time, t'was negative but there ARE of course other viruses going around for sure.)
She also took a look at some weird to me issues I'm having and suggested tendinitis rather than whatever else I was worried about, but with a requisition for an X-ray for my ankle if it doesn't get better and I want to rule out... uh.... stuff?
Part of me is tempted to experiment with sugar and see if I can trigger the pain again but that seems kind of not the smartest experiment (although it might cement in my brain to like stop eating the stuff) but also of COURSE I WANT TO EAT ALL THE CANDY AGAIN (sigh).
But yeah, anyway. Maybe I was just sick. Or maybe too much sugar makes me not so feely goody.
Grateful as ever to actually have a family doctor I can go to, that's the one thing I know for sure!
